How did I make this picture?

I used Serif PhotoPlus 7, available for $9.95 from:

(You act like you're downloading the free version 5.5, and it gives you a chance to upgrade to version 7 for $9.95.  The current version from http://www.serif.com is PhotoPlus version 9 for $99.99.)

I started with the Thanksgiving picture, moved me, and then put in a nice random background from the other parts of the picture.  I then copied Isobel from a picture taken a few months earlier in Virginia and pasted us on top of the original picture as a new layer, and adjusted Isobel's brightness up a bit.  I then did the same for Cocoa.
