Tips

Unit names are (UPPER/lower) case sensitive.
To evaluate an expression and display the result in a specified unit, enter "expression ? unit".
To evaluate a dimensionless expression, enter just "expression".
To display a unit or (non-dimensionless) expression's dimension, enter simply "unit" or "expression".
To see a unit's definition and SI equivalent, enter the unit, tap "Search", tap "Exact match", select a unit line (there will be more than one if the unit is defined ambiguously), and then tap "Details".

Tips for Windows Users

Palm OS menus are accessed by clicking on the "Calchemy" program tab, at the top left of the main window.
Help for dialog boxes is accessed by clicking the "i" button, at the top right of the dialog box.

License Keys

Calchemy for Palm OS is "nag-ware"; it gives 15 nag-free uses and then starts nagging the user, more and more, to register the product. When the user registers the product and supplies a valid license key, nagging stops. A license key is valid forever, even thru product upgrades.
